Ethan is now officially 1.5 years old! He is a busy busy boy. He constantly is on the move, and doesn't like to not be. He is saying a lot of words and surprising us almost every day with new ones. His most recent word I noticed yesterday was "excuse me." Now, it's not nearly that clear, and a lot of times he needs a translator : ) He loves to watch Curious George, play with cars, read books, and do anything outside.
Dustin has been busy with prepping and doing stuff with our new church. It's been a cool thing to be a part of. Grace Community Church on our first morning...
Well, life in pictures, we have to back up to the second weekend of November. My grandparents came in to visit for my mom's bday weekend. We celebrated with smores... this was my grandmothers second time to have smores (her first was just two years ago!)
Playing around...
We love to go to story time! Ethan loves to dance!
Family trip to marble slab- E-man was a big fan!
He likes to "read" his Bible (and can say Bible!) and we pray he will continue to enjoy reading it!
When Dustin and I sit down together to read, Ethan goes to get his little one and runs around jabbering as if he is reading from it!
We were able to take Ethan to his first MSU football game compliments of our sweet friends the Joseys. We were a bit worried that he'd be a handful and that we wouldn't be able to watch much... but he did great! He loved everything- the cow bells, the music, yelling!! It was a lot of fun!
Wesley let Ethan "ring" the cowbell....
Jonathan, Wesley and E-man. And we won : )
Thanksgiving Day 2012
Ethan's first game of football.
And just for fun... I had hoped to get some pictures in his cute Thanksgiving outfit that my mom got him, and the pumpkins that our friends the Lee's gave us.... and this was what I got. Perfect conditions, but E-man didn't think it was so perfect. He was pretty mad at me. Oh well...
The next day... much happier for pictures... conditions and outfit not nearly as perfect.
December to come next...
But when the goodness and loving kindness of God our Savior appeared, he saved us, not because of works done by us in righteousness, but according to his own mercy, by the washing of regeneration and renewal of the Holy Spirit, whom he poured out on us richly through Jesus Christ our Savior, so that being justified by his grace we might become heirs according to the hope of eternal life. The saying is trustworthy, and I want you to insist on these things, so that those who have believed in God may be careful to devote themselves to good works. These things are excellent and profitable for people.
