We have gone swimming and had a picnic lunch by the pool...
Worked on our golf game....
Played at the splash pad....
Picked up some kind of virus, but went to the doc just to make sure it was all ok...
Had lunch with dad at the lake (well, this is actually when we ate in the car, and then went to walk at the lake)...
Found a fun mirror....
Watched my brother play some really good and fun rounds of golf (and sweated off half my body weight in the process.... I wish)....
Watched my brother be famous....
(And this is my 86 yr old grandfather watching my brother putt #9.. he had previously walked a lot of holes!)
Got our (as in E's) first fat lip... botox anyone? : )
(thankfully Rena just happened to be by when it happened, so she made him feel all better)
Picked up a new game... (baseball bat + golf ball)
Taking some naps in the car while we ran errands (and this is rare! he would much rather be watching the world outside the window!)
Reverting back to his days as a "baby".... E's friend Graham came over to play, and E decided that because Graham didn't want to play in it, he might as well spend some time hanging (literally on the ground!) out!
This summer has been a fun one! But I can happily say that I am more than ready for fall to arrive. And, if you aren't there yet, just drop in Hobby Lobby and the wonderful feeling a fall will get you there! I had to drop by there twice this week, and got excited both times! Can't wait for football, cooler weather, pumpkins...
Let everything that has breath praise the LORD!
Praise the LORD!
(Psalm 150:6 ESV)
