time is flying

Another month has come and gone.  Fall is finally showing up, and it is most welcome at our house!

Here's a little bit of our E-man's world:

watching some John Piper teaching with us one night... he seemed to like it... definitely his father's child : )

learning to eat from a spoon... this is a messy process!

going to story time!  Ethan loves this!  For some reason he is usually pretty still and quiet, but he loves the music.  He just started to dance during the music when we go...

dropping his morning nap!  That's right... he's a one nap kind of kid now.  But that does mean most mornings he gets cranky around the time his old nap used to be.  So we usually lay on the floor and watch a movie... he  likes it!

he loves to read books... though in this picture he was falling asleep reading... this would make him his mother's child : )

he still loves loves loves to go grocery shopping.  But he thinks the kid seat faces the wrong way, so he tries to do what he can.  He'd much rather look at every one else than me!

More shopping...

"hey kitty!"  is his favorite thing to say!  He loves this cat (she lives in our neighborhood and thankfully is very sweet to E)

today for the first time, I let him play with crayons... he likes pencils so I thought this would work.  Well, it turns out, he would rather eat crayons than color with them.  Oh well....

and a little flashback... this is E-man exactly one year ago today!  Chunky little guy!
